Myofascial Release-The John F. Barnes Approach

Gentle pressure is applied to the connective tissue “fascia” using a holding pattern of 5 minutes or longer.  This allows the body to release restrictions from physical and/or emotional trauma.  Myofascial Release is beneficial for postural issues, inflammation, trauma, increasing mobility, post-surgical and scar tissue.

Please bring comfortable clothing to your session.  Men should bring a pair of shorts and Women should bring a pair of shorts and a sports bra and/or tank top.  No oil or lotion will be used in your session.

Myofascial Lymphatic Drainage Massage

A specialized technique used to stimulate the lymphatic system while engaging the fascial system.   A gentle but effective technique that works to remove excess fluids and waste products from the body's tissues, reducing swelling and inflammation.  This technique aims to remove blockages and promotes overall lymph flow. By stimulating the lymphatic system, it works more efficiently which boosts the immune system and promotes overall well being.  Myofascial Lymphatic Drainage is recommended for individuals for pain relief, stress,  headaches, chronic pain, Pre & Post Surgical, IBS, Sinusitis, Auto-immune disease, MS and so much more.

Cupping

Cups are placed on an area of the body creating a vacuum or suction that pulls the tissue up from the body.  Cupping is beneficial for inflammation, decreasing muscle tension, as well as increasing blood circulation to help stimulate the natural healing process.

Raindrop Therapy

Essential Oils are combined with gentle strokes along the spine to bring balance and harmony to the body.  Raindrop Therapy can help enhance positive emotions, relieve stress and promote relaxation. Not recommended for individuals with sensitivity to smell.

Reiki

Reiki is an energy healing technique that reduces stress, decreases pain, and promotes healing.  The practitioner uses gentle hand movements removing blocks and improving the flow of energy.  Clients will be fully clothed during the session and should wear comfortable clothing.

Chair Massage

Individual is seated on a chair.  Therapist focuses on head, neck, shoulders, back and arms.  Great if you are limited on time.

Chi Machine

The Chi Machine moves your body in a figure 8 motion similar to a gold fish.  Benefits may include: Increase oxygen, energy and circulation; enhances lymphatic drainage and relaxes tight muscles.  Client will be fully clothed and session lasts 10 minutes.

10 minutes for $10 with tax.

 

Chi Machine followed by 60 minute therapeutic massage

Start your session with 10 minutes on the Chi Machine followed by a 60 minute massage.
